1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Chop1st's website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Chop1st is a digital marketplace connecting food vendors with customers, enabling community support through our Angelic Pool system, and building food security networks. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Chop1st for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modifying or copying the materials
• Using the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempting to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Services
• Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transferring the materials to another person or "mirroring" the materials on any other server
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

3. User Accounts and Registration

When you create an account, you must provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is truthful and accurate. Misrepresentation of identity or information is prohibited.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer using Chop1st, you agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery and contact information
• Make timely payments for orders
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding food safety
• Not abuse the Angelic Pool support system
• Respect scheduled pickup times
• Follow the Refund Policy and procedures

5. Vendor Responsibilities

As a vendor on Chop1st, you agree to:

• Complete KYC verification and maintain accurate business information
• Provide high-quality products that meet food safety standards
• Accurately describe products, pricing, and availability
• Fulfill orders within agreed timelines
• Maintain scheduled pickup times and slots
• Comply with all applicable food safety regulations
• Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries

6. Angel Responsibilities

As an Angel supporter on Chop1st, you agree to:

• Provide accurate payment information and maintain sufficient wallet funds
• Use the Angelic Pool in good faith to support genuine needs with dignity
• Understand that Angel support is voluntary and non-refundable once funded
• Respect the complete privacy of all beneficiaries (no contact or harassment)
• Use MyFund Wallet responsibly and report suspicious activity
• Follow Angel community guidelines and code of conduct
• Understand that beneficiary information is limited to protect privacy

7. Payment and Refunds

Payment processing is handled securely through third-party payment providers. By making a purchase, you authorize Chop1st and our payment processors to charge your payment method for the full order amount (buyer payment + angel support if applicable).

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on Chop1st, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the exclusive property of Chop1st or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written permission.

9. User-Generated Content

If you submit reviews, feedback, or other content to Chop1st, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content. You represent that you own or have necessary rights to such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or our policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chop1st shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in question.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Chop1st makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Services, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Food Safety and Compliance

Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that all food products comply with applicable health, safety, and food handling regulations. Chop1st requires all vendors to complete food safety verification. Vendors must:

• Maintain proper food storage and handling practices
• Clearly list all ingredients and potential allergens
• Provide accurate expiration dates
• Keep records of food sources and safety certifications
• Respond promptly to food safety concerns

Chop1st is not liable for foodborne illnesses, allergic reactions, or other health issues arising from products sold on the platform. Buyers should inform vendors of any allergies or dietary restrictions during order placement.

13. Termination of Service

Chop1st reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful conduct. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

14. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Chop1st to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Engage in fraud, forgery, or deceptive practices
• Submit false KYC or verification information
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Engage in price gouging or market manipulation

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chop1st and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of Chop1st shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to arbitration or court proceedings in accordance with applicable laws.

20. Impact Data and Reports

Impact metrics (students fed, households supported, carbon offset, etc.) are calculated from verified transactions. You own your impact data and can:

• Download personal impact reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Share your public impact profile with others
• Export transaction history and certificates
• Request data in portable format

Chop1st may aggregate anonymized impact data for public impact reporting and transparency.

21. Community Conduct Standards

Chop1st is built on dignity, respect, and community. Users agree to:

• Treat all users with respect regardless of their role (customer, vendor, angel)
• Never discriminate based on beneficiary status or seeking assistance
• Protect privacy and dignity of all community members
• Report harmful behavior immediately to support
• Recognize that seeking help is normal and respectable
• Support community principles of food security and dignity

Violations of community conduct standards may result in account suspension or termination.
