Chop First TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to ChopFirst! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, ChopFirst) to order foods stuffs online from various vendors foor delivery and or pick up. Or as a vendor you agree to deliver healthy and worhty food stock to our clients. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
1. Accceptance of Terms
By using our Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or organization(has to be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission), you represent that you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.
2. Services Provided
We provide an online platform that allows users to:
Browse menus and place orders for food stock/items and beverages from participating dealers or vendors.
Schedule deliveries or pickups.
Pay for orders securely through the Platform.
We hold the vendors responsible for the preservation, quality, and or safety of the food, which is the sole responsibility of the vendor under our regulatory rules.
3. Account Registration
You may be required to create an account on the Platform to place orders.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information updated.
4. Ordering and Payment
Browsing/Selecting Food stocks: You can browse restaurant menus, place orders, and select delivery or pickup options through the Platform.
You are responsible for reviewing your order carefully before submitting it.
Placing Orders: By placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount displayed, including taxes, delivery fees, and any other charges.
Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and digital wallets. All payments are processed securely.
Pricing: Menu prices are set by the restaurants or vendors and may change without notice. We are not responsible for pricing errors.
Cancellations: You may cancel an order before it is confirmed by the restaurant. Once confirmed, cancellations are at the discretion of the restaurant.
5. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Platform, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain the security of your account credentials.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or inappropriate behavior.
6. Delivery and Pickup
Delivery: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services or external factors.
Pickup: If you choose to pick up your order, you are responsible for collecting it within the specified time frame.
Contactless Options: We may offer contactless delivery or pickup options for your safety and convenience.
7. Refunds and Disputes
Refunds: Refunds are subject to the policies of the vendor. If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us using support@chop1st.com , and we will work with the food vendor to resolve the issue.
Disputes: Any disputes regarding food quality, missing items, or other issues must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
Not harass, abuse, or harm our staff, delivery personnel, or restaurant partners.
Not use the Platform to place fraudulent orders or engage in any illegal activity.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including logos, text, images, and software, is the property of chopfirst digital solutions or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChopFirst and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:
Food quality or safety issues.
Delays or errors in delivery.
Technical issues or interruptions in service.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms and cyber laws as obtained in Nigeria.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria(NDPR). Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Arbitration recognised here in Nigeria..
